Kekeli Consult-Keta Hosts Education Fair and Career Development Seminar for Volta Region SHS Students

Accra: The Tertiary Education Consulting Unit of Kekeli Consult-Keta has organized a Higher Education Fair and Career Development Seminar for final year students in senior high and technical schools across the Volta Region: The students were equipped with knowledge of programmes offered at various tertiary institutions and associated job opportunities.



According to Ghana News Agency, Mr. Gilbert Korbla Keklie, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Consult, mentioned that the seminar also covered available scholarship packages at various tertiary institutions and provided students with valuable information to make informed decisions about their future. He emphasized the opportunity for students to interact with representatives from various tertiary institutions to learn more about courses that align with their future potential.



Mr. Keklie explained that a total of 8,227 final year students from districts including Ketu South, Keta Municipal, Anloga District, South Tongu, Central Tongu, and Ho Municipal participated in the seminar. The initiative aimed to guide students in making informed choices regarding their educational and career paths. He expressed gratitude to the Ghana Education Service, Volta Region, Ghana Communication Technology University (GCTU), and various school managements and staff for their support and participation, which played a crucial role in the seminar’s success.



The seminar empowered students with the knowledge and skills needed to make informed decisions about their future. It allowed students to explore various career options and learn about programmes offered at tertiary institutions. Mr. Keklie also highlighted the career opportunities available to students after completing their tertiary education, emphasizing job prospects and required skills for different careers.



Representatives from various tertiary institutions attended the seminar, providing students with insights into the programmes offered at their institutions. Students were given the opportunity to ask questions and seek clarification on various issues, which had a significant impact on their understanding of career options and opportunities available to them.
