Accra: The Ministry of Defence announced on Monday that the board established to investigate the Z-9 Helicopter Crash has commenced its work, with a report expected within 30 days.
According to Ghana News Agency, a press statement signed by Dr. Cassel Ato Forson, the Acting Defence Minister, confirmed that the board includes technical experts from the Ghana Airforce, Aircraft Accident and Incident Investigation Board, and the Ghana Civil Aviation Authority. The board will receive assistance from visiting investigators from the United States Air Force and may also invite other local and international technical personnel to support the investigation.
The investigation board’s work began following the submission of preliminary investigations on Monday, 25th August 2025.
