Bolgatanga: The International Presbytery (IP) of Fountain Gate Chapel (FGC) in Bolgatanga, the Upper East Regional capital, has officially commenced its new four-year term following an induction ceremony.
According to Ghana News Agency, the induction took place at the Desert Pastures of the Church, concluding the church’s weeklong event titled ‘Bethesda 2025.’ The ceremony was attended by the church’s founder, Reverend Eastwood Anaba, his wife Reverend Mrs. Rosemond Anaba, and members from both local and international branches.
The newly inducted IP consists of Apostle Daniel Asiedu as Chairman, Reverend Emmanuel Forson as Vice Chairman, and Reverend Dr. Sylvester Agalga as the International Coordinator. Other members include Reverend Mrs. Akweley Laryea, Reverend Alex Fredua-Agyemang, Reverend John Akye, Reverend Professor Christopher Saaha Bornaa, and Reverend John Kennedy Akita. Additional members are Reverend Isaac Mensah, Reverend Anthony Felix Baffoe, Prophet Godfred Kyeremeh, Prophet Felix Agbodeka, and Reverend Johnny Tibu Darko.
The induction was officiated by Reverend Clement Anchebah, Head Pastor of Gate Pastures, a branch of FGC in Ofankor, Accra. He prayed for wisdom and guidance for the new leadership team to elevate the church during their term.
Apostle Asiedu, re-elected as Chairman, expressed gratitude for the trust placed in him and acknowledged the achievements of the previous IP under his leadership. He highlighted the introduction of a strategic plan and policy documents that are awaiting adoption.
Apostle Asiedu, who is also the Managing Director of OmniBSIC Bank Ghana Limited, emphasized the importance of implementing the strategic plan with the support of pastors and church leadership globally. He stressed the need for adherence to systems and structures to effectively track progress.
He thanked the Senior Pastorate, the Founder, and his wife, along with the entire Pastoral body for their invaluable support during his previous tenure. He also urged congregation members to pray for the success of the new leadership.
