Volta Regional Education Directorate Applauds Stakeholders for Shaping Future Leaders

According to ghana news agency:ccording to Ghana News Agency, Mrs. Marian Jemima Akua Adzroe, the Deputy Regional Director, praised these efforts during a speech at the Eighth Graduation Ceremony of the E.P. Kekeli International School in Ho, delivered on behalf of the Volta Regional Director of Education. She emphasized the event as both a celebration and a reminder of the pivotal roles stakeholders play in laying the groundwork for Ghana’s future leaders.



Mrs. Adzroe highlighted the importance of the ceremony’s theme, ‘Building the Child’s Future: The Role of Stakeholders, Parents, and Teachers,’ calling it timely and urgent in today’s rapidly changing world. She noted that the Alpha Generation, children born from 2010 onwards, face a unique digital-first world, presenting unprecedented opportunities and challenges.



Mrs. Adzroe outlined key responsibilities for stakeholders, including investing in inclusive and digitally equipped infrastructure, promoting equity and access, supporting teacher development, and ensuring accountability in educational resources. She also urged parents to create nurturing environments and stay involved in their children’s academic journeys, while encouraging teachers to embrace lifelong learning and innovation.



The Deputy Regional Director applauded the graduates for their achievements, emphasizing that graduation marks the beginning of a lifelong journey. She urged them to remain curious, bold, and compassionate in their endeavors, serving others beyond personal success.



Mrs. Patience Irene Amekorgbe Agbeti, Headmistress of E.P. Kekeli International School, shared the school’s academic and extracurricular successes, including a top-five ranking in the Ho Municipal Education Directorate’s Basic Education Certificate Examination. She appealed for support to complete additional classroom constructions, citing financial constraints.



The graduation ceremony celebrated the accomplishments of 28 learners from various educational stages, drawing attendance from parents, family members, teachers, church leaders, and officials from the Ghana Education Service.
