Kpeve Model JHS Wins South Dayi NCCE Constitution Game Quiz Competition

Kpeve: Kpeve Model Junior High School (JHS) emerged victorious in the South Dayi National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE) Constitution quiz held at Kpeve in the Volta Region. The school triumphed with 68 points, narrowly defeating Kpeve E.P JHS, which secured 66 points.



According to Ghana News Agency, the quiz competition was part of the NCCE’s nationwide activities to mark Ghana’s 68th Independence Day anniversary. Mr. Mathias Senam Segbefia, the South Dayi District Director of NCCE, emphasized the importance of the quiz as a strategy to raise awareness of democratic governance values, instill patriotism, and enhance citizens’ participation in governance.



Mr. Segbefia also highlighted that the primary aim of the event was to promote the learning of the 1992 Constitution’s contents in an engaging manner among students at the basic education level. Mr. Prosper Yevu, the South Dayi District Director of Education, encouraged students to study diligently for their Basic Education Certificate Examination to advance academically and become responsible citizens for Ghana.



The contestants received copies of the 1992 Constitution and medals, while the winning school was awarded a trophy. The event was co-sponsored by NCCE and Weto Rural Bank PLC.
