According to Ghana News Agency, the Minority Chief Whip, Mr. Frank Annoh-Dompreh, emphasized the urgency of the matter during a parliamentary session in Accra. He urged the House to proactively address the situation to avoid a repeat of past challenges faced by the country. Mr. Annoh-Dompreh called for the respected leader of the house to facilitate an arrangement for the Minister of Health to provide the necessary information.

The Minority's demand for a ministerial briefing underscores the need for clear information and transparency in addressing public health concerns. Mr. Annoh-Dompreh stressed the importance of summoning the Minister of Health to Parliament to ensure the government takes proactive measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and protect public health.
