Tunis: The fire which broke out in Djebel Bayadh in Bargou, Siliana on Wednesday morning has been extinguished by Civil Protection units.The fire had been put out in a short time despite the difficulty of access to the mountain due to a rough relief and violent winds blowing over the region on Wednesday morning, Civil Protection Regional Director in Siliana Mohamed Ali Ben Bihi told TAP.It had required the intervention of 4 fire trucks (2 belonging to the regional forest directorate and 2 others from the Civil Protection) to extinguish the fire which have destroyed two hectares of forest trees, Ben Bihi specified.Source: Agence Tunis Afrique Presse
