Osaka: A delegation from the Ministry of Trade, Agribusiness and Industry is representing Ghana at Expo 2025 in Osaka, Japan. The team is promoting trade and investment opportunities to strengthen bilateral relations.
According to Ghana News Agency, the six-month event, which opened on April 13, 2025, features over 150 countries and 50 international organisations. The theme of the expo is ‘Designing Future Society for Our Lives: Saving Lives, Connecting Lives, and Empowering Lives.’
Ghana’s pavilion highlights its cultural heritage and national progress in trade, education, health, and Information Communication Technology (ICT). An average of 500 to 1,000 visitors have toured the Ghana pavilion daily since the opening.
Deputy Minister for Trade, Agribusiness and Industry, Mr Sampson Ahi, also Commissioner General for Ghana at the Expo, led the delegation alongside Ghana’s Ambassador to Japan, Mrs. Genevieve Edna Akpaloo.
