Sunyani: Candidates writing the on-going 2025 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) have been urged to be disciplined and confident in answering their papers. They must also guard against examination malpractices that can lead to the cancellation of subjects and the entire results.
According to Ghana News Agency, the Global Media Foundation (GloMeF), a Sunyani-based media advocacy, anti-corruption, and human rights Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO), gave the advice in a statement issued and signed by its founder and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Raphael Godlove Ahenu. A copy of the statement made available in Sunyani emphasized that cheating and pilfering in the examination remained serious offences, urging candidates to be honest as they strived for academic excellence.
The statement conveyed that candidates’ hard work, honesty, and dedication will not only make them proud but also bring honour to their schools, families, and communities. It further indicated that passing the WASSCE represented more than an academic milestone, serving as a springboard to the pinnacle of the candidates’ lives and future opportunities. GloMeF extended its best wishes for the candidates’ success in the examination.
