JENDOUBA: A fire, which broke out, on Wednesday evening, at a farm in the Hamam area, part of the Balta Bouaoune delegation of Jendouba governorate, ravaged nearly 15 hectares of durum wheat.Civil protection units have contained the blaze, which was the most significant recorded in the Bousalem and Balta Bouaoune delegations since the start of the harvest season, head of the civil protection unit in Bousalem Chorkri Yakoubi told TAP.To date, the number of fires reported in the Bousalem and Balta Bouaoune delegations has reached around fifteen.These incidents primarily affected grain farms, crops, hay bales, and forest areas, according to statistics from the Local Directorate of Civil Protection in Jendouba.Source: Agence Tunis Afrique Presse
