NEW YORK: Mr. Eric Adu, a JFK-based flight attendant, has shared delightful experiences as a flight attendant for Delta Airlines.According to Ghana News Agency, Mr. Eric Adu revealed that working with Delta Air Lines for the past 16 years was a lifelong dream come true. His intrigue with the airline began when his sister brought home a flyer from an event in Accra that read, 'Delta is my airline.' Although initially unfamiliar with Delta, Mr. Adu felt an immediate connection, cherishing the flyer by placing it in his school trunk and carrying it everywhere.He recalled how classmates would inquire about the flyer and his attachment to it. Despite not having a clear answer at the time, he told them he loved the name and the logo. Following high school, Mr. Adu relocated to the United States, where he undertook various jobs before completing Delta's rigorous flight attendant training program in 2008.Expressing his enthusiasm, Adu stated, 'I was thrilled, and within six weeks, I learnt so much about the ai rline.' He emphasized his satisfaction with Delta, describing it as the best company he has worked for since moving to America. Adu aims to continue his career with Delta until retirement, highlighting the personal and professional fulfillment he gains from his role.Adu also expressed his fondness for the JFK-Accra route, which allows him to connect with family and embody the 'Delta Difference' for fellow Ghanaians. 'I love working the JFK-Accra route because I get to help my people,' he noted. He described how speaking the local language with older passengers with language barriers helps them feel comfortable and welcome, and he consistently goes above and beyond to assist them.
