Tunis: Tunisia has added two new silver medals to its haul at the end of the 10m pistol competition at the Arab Shooting Championship, which is being held in Beni Khalled until May 20, bringing the total number of silver medals to four.The two new silver medals were won by Olfa Charni-Alaa Othmani in the mixed doubles and Israa Hamza in the intermediate pistol competition.On the first day of the championships, the national team won two silver medals thanks to Doua Chalghoum, who finished all the events ahead of Egypt's Hala El-Gouhary with 216.8 points each, forcing a tie-break, which the Egyptian won with a difference of 235.8 points to 234.8, and the Tunisian women's team of Doua Chalghoum, Olfa Charni and Noura Nasri.The Arab Shooting Championship is held with the participation of 128 athletes from 9 countries: Tunisia, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Iraq, Egypt, United Arab Emirates, Mauritania and Algeria.Source: Agence Tunis Afrique Presse
