APC President sends best wishes to African Para Athletes at Paris 2024 Paralympic Games

African Paralympic Committee (APC) President Samson Deen has extended the best of wishes to all African Para Athletes at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games.Africa is proudly represented by over 45 National Paralympic Committees (NPCs) and hundreds of athletes across various sports disciplines, all set to make the continent proud.In light of this, APC President Samson Deen has extended his heartfelt congratulations to all the NPCs and the dedicated athletes who have qualified for the Paris 2024 Games.He acknowledged the challenging journey they have undertaken, emphasizing that their determination and sacrifice have brought Africa to the Games."As the leader of the African region, I have observed the performance of our dear athletes in the recent three past editions of the Games-London 2012, Rio 2016, and Tokyo 2020. With 79 and 63 medals in the last two editions respectively, I have no doubt that our gallant athletes in this year's Paralympic Games will shine once again and surpass the previous medal ha uls," Samson Deen stated.Samson Deen also expressed his awareness of the difficulties faced by athletes in their sporting endeavors. He praised their self-motivation, determination, and encouragement, which have driven them to achieve success and represent their respective countries on this prestigious stage."I wish to admonish you to hold on to these values as you compete in this year's games against all odds and come out victorious in this pursuit.
