Kwesimintsim: Mr Fiifi Buckman, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Parliamentary Candidate for Kwesimintsim, has called upon the United Cadres Front of the party to embrace the values of patriotism, nationalism, and selflessness in their campaign efforts to achieve a decisive victory in the Election 2024. He emphasized that these were the principles that drove the 1979 revolution and noted that discipline among cadres was instrumental in securing electoral wins for the NDC during the era of Jerry John Rawlings.According to Ghana News Agency, Mr Buckman, a legal practitioner, made these remarks while addressing the Kwesimintsim chapter of the United Cadres Front at a conference held to inaugurate the Young Cadres Front of the party in Takoradi. The conference was themed 'Forging Ahead in Unity Towards Victory 2024 And Beyond'. In his speech, Mr Buckman urged the Young Cadres Front to enhance their grassroots efforts through door-to-door, house-to-house, market, and church campaigns to ensure a conclusive victory for the NDC.Mr Buckman also reminded the Cadres Front about reviving the spirit of communalism and volunteerism, essential for the party's triumph and progress of the nation. Mr Sam Donkor, a National Executive Member of the United Cadres Front, echoed these sentiments, encouraging members to boost their efforts to reclaim the seat and cautioning against complacency.Madam Beatrice Sam, the Western Regional Chairperson of the United Cadres Front, also encouraged the young Cadres to adopt a more dynamic approach in their campaign strategies for a robust victory. She stressed the importance of recovering every vote previously aligned with the NDC through reconciliation and diplomacy. Furthermore, she urged the young Cadres to remain dedicated to the party's cause, free from financial motivations.Additionally, Mr Ali Donkor, the Regional Organiser of the United Cadres Front, warned NDC party members about the dangers of complacency, urging them to display exemplary behavior to attract more supporter s to the party.
