Mr Daniel Titus Glover, Greater Accra Regional Minister, has called on Ghanaians to embrace good virtues and contribute meaningfully to the development of humanity.The Regional Minister urged leaders to uphold the tenets of quality leadership, adding that 'humility is the scorecard to development.'Mr Glover said this when Mr Claudio Mazzucco, the Imperator of the Rosicrucian Order (AMORC), and a delegation of the Order in Ghana paid a courtesy call on the Minister in Accra.The visit was to seek assistance from the Minister to promote the activities of the Order in the country to improve society.The Minister said the support for charity works like almsgiving and assistance to the less privileged helped improve their lives and better society.He advised all and sundry to discharge their responsibilities with a sense of purpose and humility to transform the country.That, he stressed, was important because power was transient and must be exercised for the service of the people and not personal interes t.'I do not mind to be an associate member of the Order. I will find time and pay you a visit to learn more about your teachings,' he said.He said the country would do everything possible to ensure free and fair elections in the December poll.'We are committed to ensuring that the citizens' choice is respected and accepted,' he said.Mr Mazzucco said the Order had been in Ghana for over 100 years with the mission to provide seekers with the spiritual wisdom to undertake their activities.He said the Order, among others, taught good values that helped to improve the relationship with God and nature.The Imperator of the Rosicrucian Order was optimistic that Ghana and Africa could set a good example for the world.He explained that Africa's population was growing and stated that in 30 years the continent would witness a younger generation to propel economic development.Mr Eugenius Idiodi, Grand Master Elect of the Rosicrucian Order, said their outfit was committed to investing in human resources thr ough positive values to make an impact on society.He said the country needed competent, honest leaders to champion these traits and improve society.The Order is a system of education and training that focuses on the study and investigation of creative, constructive cosmic forces for the attainment of health, happiness, and peace.Source: Ghana News Agency
