BOGOSO: Voting has been slowed down at the EC office in Bogoso due to a technical hitch on the verification device. The device, which is critical to the voting process, has been rejecting the fingerprints of some voters, resulting in a delay.According to Ghana News Agency, Mr. Kingsford Ajokacher, the presiding officer, explained that the commission had resorted to using facial verification as an alternative method. This adjustment aims to mitigate the impact of the technical issues and ensure that the voting process continues smoothly.A total of 221 individuals, comprising security personnel, media, and other stakeholders, are expected to cast their ballots in the Prestea Huni Valley constituency. As of 10:48 am, 166 people had successfully voted, despite the technical challenges.There was peace and orderliness at the polling station, as voters waited patiently for their turn. Various political party agents and security personnel were present to ensure the voting process remained smooth and trouble-fre e.
