Two people had been killed and 17 injured when a lorry skidded off the road on Avenue Bellevue in the El Ouardia neighbourhood in Tunis, spokesman for the Civil Protection Moez Triaa told TAP on Thursday.The lorry collided violently with two cars parked in front of the terrace of a café, taking the people seated there by surprise. "The two victims (aged 31 and 27) died on the spot, while the other injured were rushed to the Charles Nicolle and Rabta hospitals and to the Trauma and Burns Centre," he added.The accident had occurred shortly before midnight on Wednesday evening, he specified.The police investigation is underway.Source: Agence Tunis Afrique Presse
