The stock market index concluded the week from July 1 to July 5, 2024, with a slight uptick of 0.1% to 9735.9 points, as reported by broker Tunisie Valeurs. The market had begun the week cautiously before picking up momentum from Wednesday's session onwards.Year-to-date, the TUNINDEX has shown a commendable performance of +11.3%.The week saw a relative acceleration in trading activity, with a total turnover of TND 37 million, averaging TND 7.4 million per day.Notably, there were seven block transactions totalling TND 9 million, all exclusively involving ONE TECH HOLDING shares.ASSURANCES MAGHREBIA VIE achieved the highest performance of the week, with the insurance company, affiliated with MAGHREBIA Group, gaining 9.3% to reach TND 5.600, with a modest trading volume of TND 147,000.STB shares distinguished themselves during the week, as the state-owned bank's stock rose by +7.2% to TND 3.270. The stock traded a modest volume of TND 140,000 throughout the week.AETECH ended up at the bottom of the T UNINDEX, experiencing a decline of -16.7% to TND 0.250 despite no trading activity taking place.SOTETEL's stock was adversely affected by profit-taking during the week, plummeting by 7.5% to TND 5.180. Trading volume for the telecommunications network specialist amounted to TND 287,000.Boosted by the aforementioned block transactions, ONE TECH HOLDING led in terms of trading volume.
