Tadzewu kordzi: Mr. Solomon Lotsu, a resident of Tadzewu Kordzi in the Oti Region, has urged Ghanaians to rejuvenate the practice of communal labour. He noted that the tradition has seen a significant decline in recent years.
According to Ghana News Agency, during a communal labour exercise in Tadzewu Kordzi, Mr. Lotsu expressed his concern about the younger generation’s apathy towards communal work. He highlighted the importance of these activities, not only as traditions but as civic duties for every citizen.
Mr. Lotsu, who is also an agriculturalist, stressed the value of communal labour, stating that it is a responsibility that individuals owe to themselves and their communities. He pointed out that such efforts help maintain cleanliness and unity among community members.
He called on citizens, especially the youth, to engage actively in communal activities to enhance sanitation and foster community development.
