Accra: African poverty can be addressed through purposeful leadership, according to Dr. Benjamin Anyagre, the Chief Executive Officer of the Afro-Continental Union Consult. Dr. Anyagre emphasized the importance of a unified governance system to combat the challenges faced by the continent.According to Ghana News Agency, Dr. Anyagre stressed the need for African leaders to come together as a single force to address the continent's issues. He pointed out that disciplined governance and diplomacy focused on creating a futuristic-minded African nation could unlock Africa's potential. Dr. Anyagre highlighted the opportunity for Africa to engage with developed economies like China, generating positive income through a framework centered on 'Africa Sovereign Interest-Based Benefits' (ASIBB) as part of a purposeful unity agenda.Dr. Anyagre noted that global powers like China might face challenges in achieving shared prosperity when dealing with fragmented states in Africa. He pointed out Africa's potential for ra pid development, citing China's transformation from an International Development Association (IDA) aid recipient to a contributor. He urged African leaders to study China's history and leadership style to understand how it lifted nearly a billion people out of poverty.
