Accra: The Private Newspapers and Online News Publishers Association of Ghana (PRINPAG) has announced the formation of a five-member committee tasked with supervising the nomination process for the 2024 PRINPAG Awards. These prestigious awards recognize outstanding achievements in print and online journalism throughout Ghana, fostering innovation, originality, and editorial independence among media professionals.According to Ghana News Agency, the committee members were unveiled in a statement released by PRINPAG in Accra. The committee includes Sir Ben Asorrow as Chairman, Mr. Emmanuel Ajarfor Abugri as Secretary, and members Lawyer Ken Agyei Kuranchie, Mr. Awudu Mahama, and Mr. David Tamakloe. This committee is responsible for selecting award nominees across various categories based on criteria set by PRINPAG's National Executives.The statement emphasized the committee's role in maintaining the awards' high standards by honoring journalists who demonstrate integrity and professionalism.
