President Nana Akufo-Addo has expressed gratitude to various stakeholders in the Northern Region for their support for his government over the years.President Nana Akufo-Addo, at a meeting with various stakeholders including Heads of Department in Tamale, acknowledged the roles they played in his administration's success.He used the opportunity to court support for the Vice President, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia's presidential bid in this year's general election.He said 'I urge you to extend the same level of support and cooperation to Dr Bawumia. Your backing is crucial in ensuring the continuation of our party's vision and policies.'Prior to the meeting, President Nana Akufo-Addo visited the Ya-Na Abukari (II), Overlord of Dagbon, at the Gbewaa Palace at Yendi as part of his 'thank you tour' to express gratitude to him for the support for his tenure in office.He expressed delight that peace returned to Dagbon Traditional Area since the enskinment of the Ya-Na.Ya-Na Abukari (II) commended the President for his leadership and said his selfless efforts in supporting and bringing reconciliation and peace to Dagbon would forever be remembered.Source: Ghana News Agency
