Paramount Chief of Saboba Visits Northern Regional Minister to Extend Congratulations

Tamale: Ubor Mateer John Bowan Sakojim IV, the Paramount Chief of Saboba, paid a courtesy visit to the Northern Regional Minister, Mr. Ali Adolf John, congratulating him on his recent appointment.

According to Ghana News Agency, Ubor Sakojim IV was accompanied by his sub-chiefs and the Saboba District Chief Executive during the visit. Mr. John expressed his gratitude to the Paramount Chief and his entourage for their visit. He called for peace among the chiefs and the people of Saboba, highlighting its significance for development. The Minister also emphasized the importance of prioritizing education as a driver of progress in the region.

Mr. John assured the attendees that the government is committed to launching several development projects in Saboba, aimed at improving residents' lives and fostering economic growth. He mentioned that these projects are expected to positively impact the local economy, create jobs, and enhance access to essential services, thereby contributing to the overall development of Saboba and its community.

Ubor Sakojim IV expressed his appreciation for the warm reception from the Regional Minister and congratulated him on his appointment. He also extended gratitude to President John Dramani Mahama for selecting Mr. John for the role. The Paramount Chief acknowledged the ongoing development projects in Saboba, particularly the construction of the Wapuli Bridge. He further appealed to the government to consider establishing a tertiary institution, such as a College of Education, in Saboba to benefit the local community and aid the region's growth.

He concluded by urging the Regional Minister to demonstrate tolerance and patience in his leadership, underscoring their importance in ensuring effective governance and the well-being of the people.
