GWL Restores Water Supply to Ho Municipality After Pump Breakdown

According to Ghana News Agency:ccording to Ghana News Agency, a statement by Mr. Stanley Martey, Public Relations and Communication Manager of GWL, noted that technical teams worked tirelessly to resolve the problem. To alleviate the impact of the water shortage, GWL deployed water tankers to essential service institutions as an interim solution.

During a visit to the Kpeve Intake Point, Mr. Adam Mutawakilu, Managing Director of GWL, assured residents of Ho and nearby areas of the company's commitment to tackling water supply challenges. Urgent measures have been implemented to ensure a stable supply.

As part of its medium-term strategy, GWL has acquired two new pumps, expected to arrive by the end of March. In the long term, the company plans to expand the Kpeve Water Treatment Plant to accommodate the increasing water demand in Ho and surrounding communities.

The company expressed appreciation to President John Dramani Mahama for his commitment to providing stable and equitable water access for all residents. GWL also reiterated its dedication to enhancing water service delivery and thanked stakeholders for their patience and cooperation during the disruption.
