TEMA: Over 1,000 electorates are expected to participate in a special voting exercise on Monday, December 2, at the Tema East and Tema Central constituencies. The exercise will involve a total of 1,150 participants, with 693 voters from Tema East and 457 from Tema Central.According to Ghana News Agency, the special voting is organized for security officials, media personnel, and electoral officials who have applied and verified their details during the application period at the district offices of the Electoral Commission. Mr. Manasseh Ofosuhene Asante, the Tema Metropolitan Electoral Officer, revealed that the special voting will take place at the Tema Community One Police Station and Community Eight Police Station, designated as polling centres for Tema East and Tema Central, respectively.Mr. Asante also highlighted that the total number of voters registered for the general elections in Tema East stands at 108,153, while Tema Central has 68,191 registered voters. The general election scheduled for Decem ber 7 will be conducted across 236 polling stations in Tema East and 147 in Tema Central.
