NDC Celebrates Kofi Adams and Mustapha Foyo Gbande’s Appointments

Oti Region: The National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Oti Region congratulated two of its distinguished sons, Mr. Kofi Iddie Adams and Mr. Mustapha Foyo Gbande, on their recent appointments.

According to Ghana News Agency, a statement from the NDC's Regional Secretary, Mr. Gabriel Kwami Lemboe, applauded the recent achievements of the two politicians. Mr. Adams, who serves as the Member of Parliament for the Buem Constituency, has been appointed as the Minister of Sports and Recreation. Meanwhile, Mr. Gbande, previously the Deputy General Secretary Operations, will now serve as the Deputy Director of Operations at the Presidency.

Mr. Adams is set to replace Mr. Mustapha Ussif, who led the Ministry of Sports from 2020 to 2024. The NDC has expressed confidence in Mr. Adams' leadership abilities, citing his enthusiasm for sports, particularly boxing, as a key asset for his new role in the Sports and Recreation Ministry.

Mr. Gbande, known for his vocal support of the NDC, credited the party's success to the public's discontent with the preceding government. The NDC in the Oti Region expressed pride in its two prominent members and looks forward to more individuals from the region receiving appointments.
