Tunisian athletes Oussama Farhat and Rayen Cherni clinched the silver and bronze medals, respectively, in the 10,000-metre race walk held on Sunday as part of the Arab U23 Athletics Tournament, currently taking place at the Suez Canal Stadium in Ismailia, Egypt.Oussama Farhat completed the race in 41 minutes, 19.90 seconds, while Rayen Cherni finished in 41 minutes, 56.04 seconds. The gold medal was claimed by Algerian athlete Ismail Ben Hammouda, who clocked in at 40 minutes, 57.67 seconds.The Tunisian delegation comprises eight athletes: Rihab Dhahri (1500m and 3000m steeplechase), Oussama Farhat, Rayen Cherni, Maissa Boughdir (10,000m race walk), Chaima Chouikh and Ghofrane Lahmaedi (discus throw and shot put), Islam Kthiri (heptathlon), and Senda Guerma (hammer throw).Source: Agence Tunis Afrique Presse
