Kassena-nankana west: Mr Robert Dampare, the Kassena-Nankana West District Director of the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE), has urged the youth of the district to actively participate in the fight against corruption. He emphasized that grassroots involvement is essential for this battle, and thus, young people should take an active role.

The event was organized by NCCE with support from GIZ and the European Union (EU). The gathering included representatives from various youth groups in the district, such as mechanics, hairdressers, carpenters, tricycle riders, and dressmakers. He encouraged the youth to adopt anticorruption values, become advocates for change, and report suspected corrupt acts to appropriate institutions.

Mr Robert Ubindam, Assistant Superintendent of Immigration of the Paga Sector Command, also addressed the participants on different forms of corrupt activities that negatively impact the country.
