The man who allegedly vandalised the effigies of the big six has been remanded by the Kwabenya Circuit Court.Newwel Gavu, however, has been referred to Psychiatric Hospital for examination, the GNA was told.Gavu is expected to reappear on September 10, 2024.On August 31, 2024, the Police arrested Gavu for allegedly vandalising the monuments at the Airport roundabout.The Police commended members of the public and the Airport Security for their vigilance which led to the arrest of Gavu.The six effigies were for leaders involved in Ghana 's independence struggle.Source: Ghana News Agency
