Kadjebi: Ms. Victoria Enyonam Klugah, the Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT) Treasurer for the Kadjebi District, has declared her interest in the District GNAT Chairmanship contest. In a letter titled 'Declaration of Intention,' which was copied to the Ghana News Agency (GNA), she stated, 'I, Victoria Enyonam Klugah, hereby declare my intention to contest for the position of District Chairperson for the Kadjebi District.'According to Ghana News Agency, she mentioned that she has served the union diligently in the past eight years and gained experience that would equip her to make bold decisions that could move the Association forward, should she be elected as Chairperson. The GNAT Treasurer promised to build upon the foundation laid by her predecessors by leveraging the invaluable experiences, skills, and exposure she has gained over the years.Ms. Klugah, who is a tutor at the Kadjebi-Asato Senior High School (KASEC), pledged 'fair representation of the classroom teacher' by providing logistica l support and advocating for the well-being of classroom teachers. The GNAT Treasurer, who has been teaching for the past 23 years, added that she would ensure that the Affirmative Bill, which allows for 30 per cent female representation in management, works.She also promised to promote unity and teamwork if elected and therefore urged everyone to vote for her on May 27, 2025, as Kadjebi District GNAT Chairperson. Ms. Klugah is contesting against Mr. Anthony Kwame Agortimevor, the current Kadjebi District GNAT Vice Chairman.
