JENDOUBA: Civil protection units in Jendouba extinguished a fire which broke out, on Sunday afternoon, near the Algerian borders, more precisely in the area of El Hadb, located in the locality of Sraya in the delegation of Ghardimaou.The fire was extinguished in collaboration with forest rangers and volunteer citizens as well as Algerian civil protection units.The fire ravaged an area of approximately 0.5 hectares of forest cover, Regional Director of Civil Protection in Jendouba told TAP.Various stakeholders also proceeded to cool the ravaged areas to prevent the spread of flames.
