Tunis: The Sud Ecriture Workshop announced on Monday the names of the six filmmakers selected to take part in the Sud Ecriture International Workshop N°42, as well as the titles of their projects.The are:- EN ATTENDANT LA RÉCOLTE - Sagou Banou (Mali)- RETOUR SANS BOUSSOLE - Onésiphore M. Adonaï (Benin)- ALGERIAN THERAPY - Azedine Kasri (Algeria)- THE NIGHT WHISPERER - Lina Mahmoud (Syria)- LIFE ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE SUN - Tapiwa Chipfupa (Zimbabwe)- WHEN I CLOSE MY EYES I SEE YOUR EYES - Sameh Alaa (Egypt)The first session will be held next September in Hammamet. The Sud Ecriture International Workshop is supported by the Centre national du Cinéma et de l'Image animée (CNC), the Fonds pour la jeune création francophone, the French Institute (Algeria) and UNESCO.These workshops were created in 1997 with the support of the Centre National du Cinéma (CNC-France) and the Organisation Internationale de la Francophonie (OIF).These rewriting workshops for writers of first or second feature-len gth fiction films from sub-Saharan Africa, the Maghreb and the Middle East take place over two one-week sessions led by an internationally renowned scriptwriter to help them work in depth on their script with the active participation of all the participants.Source: Agence Tunis Afrique Presse
