Tunis: The Independent High Authority for Elections (ISIE) announced on Tuesday evening that its board will hold a meeting on Thursday, July 4 to approve the calendar for the 2024 presidential elections and to revise Decree No. 18 of 2014 of August 4, 2014 on the rules and procedures for candidacy in the presidential elections.The meeting will be followed by a press briefing (19:00) at the headquarters of the ISIE subsidiary in the Kasbah, Tunis.President Kais Saied on Tuesday issued a writ for the presidential elections to be held on Sunday, October 6, 2024, according to a statement from the Presidency of the Republic.Source: Agence Tunis Afrique Presse
