Tunis: Bulgarian leader in the industry of technical plastics "Akumplast Jsc" has opened its first manufacturing unit of plastic boxes and battery boxes in the industrial zone of Zriba (governorate of Zaghouan), the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency (French: FIPA) said on Wednesday.Founded in 1985, Akumplast specializes in the manufacture of propylene-based plastic battery cases, covers and accessories, as well as lead-acid traction batteries and plastic crates. More importantly, the company is listed on the stock exchange in Bulgaria.Meeting with General Director of FIPA-Tunisia, Jalel Tebib, on July 18, "Akumplast Jsc" Executive Director, Hristin Nikilov said he was confident about the development prospects of his company in Tunisia, specifying that the investment cost of this first stage of the project amounts to approximately 3 million dinars.Source: Agence Tunis Afrique Presse
