Gomoa Ajumako Installs New Asrahene to Tackle Land Litigation

Gomoa ajumako: The Gomoa Ajumako Traditional Council has installed a new Asrahene with the aim of minimizing land litigation issues, thereby making the district more peaceful and attractive for potential investors.

According to Ghana News Agency, Asrahene Nana Kwame Adu I expressed concerns over the detrimental impact of land disputes on Gomoa Ajumako and its surrounding areas, noting that it has contributed to the region's economic struggles. However, he emphasized that the situation can still be reversed, positioning the town to become one of the most promising districts in the Central Region.

Nana Adu highlighted the importance of maintaining litigation-free lands to attract both local and foreign investment, which in turn would create jobs and wealth for the youth. He made these statements after swearing an oath of allegiance to Obrempong Yanful Krampah XI, along with other divisional chiefs, queen mothers, and family heads at Gomoa Ajumako in the Gomoa West district.

The newly appointed Asrahene pledged to work closely with security agencies to ensure peace and resolve land-related issues amicably, bypassing lengthy court processes when possible. He called for cooperation from divisional chiefs, queen mothers, family heads, and kingmakers to settle disputes effectively.

Nana Adu also expressed gratitude to the Omanhen of Gomoa Ajumako Traditional Area, Obrempong Yanful Krampah XI, for the honor bestowed upon him and his family. He reaffirmed his commitment to ensuring peace in land matters and encouraged the youth in the area to focus on education while avoiding illegal drugs, excessive alcohol use, and other detrimental behaviors.
