Accra: The Ghana National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GNCCI) has called on political leaders, candidates, the Electoral Commission, security agencies, and citizens to ensure that the upcoming elections on December 7 are conducted in a free, fair, and peaceful manner. The Chamber highlighted the significance of responsible voting, viewing elections as a critical opportunity for leadership selection rather than a source of division among the populace.According to Ghana News Agency, the GNCCI's statement, issued on Wednesday, underscored Ghana's longstanding tradition of peaceful elections, which has played a pivotal role in the nation's economic advancement and its appeal as a favorable destination for international investments. The Chamber emphasized that political stability is a cornerstone for creating a conducive business environment, highlighting that maintaining peace is essential for preserving current achievements and expanding economic opportunities for all Ghanaians.The Chamber also pointed out the fruitful collaborations with international partners, which have been instrumental in empowering businesses and fostering economic growth.
