GCCI Greater Accra Regional Pastor Urged Children to Be Christlike

Tema: Reverend Prosper Gbeve, the Greater Regional Pastor of the Great Commission Church International (GCCI), has advised children to be more Christlike. He emphasized that Christlikeness is central to the Christian faith as it reflects God’s desire for Christians to transform into the image of Christ Jesus.

According to Ghana News Agency, Rev Gbeve made this call during his homily at the close of the 2025 Children’s Camp of the Greater Regional Branch of the GCCI in Tema. He highlighted that transformation into Christlikeness involves not only outward actions but also an inward change of heart and character to please God.

Rev Gbeve urged the children to let the lessons they learned at the Camp manifest in their lives. He appealed to them to be good Ambassadors of Christ Jesus.

Reverend Paul Morgan-Adorsu, the Tema District Pastor of the GCCI, advised children to be obedient to their parents and strive to honor God at all times. Rev Iddi Yire, the Resident Pastor of GCCI Maranatha Assembly, encouraged children to maintain a daily devotion. He noted that a consistent devotional habit could nurture their faith, build a strong spiritual foundation, and deepen their relationship with God.
