GCCI Chair Urges Churches to Develop Structures for Christ-Like Disciples Making.

Accra: Apostle Dr. Samuel Vincent Ansah, Chair of the Ghana National Council, Great Commission Church International (GCCI), has called on churches to establish structures aimed at making Christ-like disciples. He emphasized this as the Church's Great Commission given by Jesus Christ, during his State of the Church Address at the 34th Annual National General Council Meeting (ANGCM) of GCCI Ghana held in Adenta near Accra.According to Ghana News Agency, the four-day meeting, themed 'Structuring the GCCI Culture to Deliver the Mandate,' brought together GCCI Ghana Ministers, their wives, and Presiding Elders. Apostle Dr. Ansah highlighted the importance of appropriate structures in delivering expected outcomes. He referred to the book of Genesis, noting that God structured creation to support the mission of mankind.Apostle Dr. Ansah stated that appropriate structures ensure smooth operation of human society, especially in matters requiring judicial settlement. He added that such structures allow leadership i n a theocratic nation to focus on understanding and teaching God's will, and prevent premature death by sharing burdens. Structures also facilitate training more leaders, ensuring proper societal functions.He further explained that structures are essential for churches at all levels-local, district, regional, national, and international-to fulfill the Great Commission. These structures help position each member of the body of Christ to contribute effectively in love and at their highest ability.Addressing the theme of the 34th ANGCM of GCCI Ghana, Apostle Dr. Ansah emphasized the need to activate and actuate GCCI's structures. Apostle Joseph Felix Kwesi Mensah, Chair of the International Executive Council of GCCI, suggested amending the Director of Evangelism's role to include Disciple-Making and Church Planting to reflect current needs.Reverend Moses Kwame Pinkrah, Second Vice Chair of Finance and Administration at GCCI's Ghana National Council, encouraged church leaders and Christians to commit to ful filling Jesus Christ's Great Commission. He urged everyone to invest their hearts in current efforts, assuring that God's presence and memory will remain with them both on earth and beyond.
