FIFA Club World Cup Trophy Displayed at Trump Tower Ahead of Finals

New york: FIFA - organisers have displayed the iconic FIFA Club World Cup trophy at the Trump Tower in New York, ahead of the finals on Sunday, July 13, at the Met Life Stadium, New Jersey. The trophy will be on a five-day display at the Trump Tower, located in the heart of Manhattan, one of the busiest centers in New York.

According to Ghana News Agency, the public trophy display follows a tour of the 32 participating countries, providing the public an opportunity to view the trophy and generate enthusiasm ahead of the finals. Presenting the trophy, FIFA President Gianni Infantino expressed his pleasure and honor in unveiling the FIFA Club World Cup Trophy in New York. He emphasized that the trophy would be accessible to all football fans until the final match.

Infantino expressed gratitude to President Donald Trump and the United States government for their support in hosting the tournament. He highlighted the global participation, noting that fans from 168 countries attended the matches, with over 2.26 million fans visiting. Infantino praised the unity and passion displayed by fans and players alike, mentioning that players from 72 countries participated and teams from all continents scored and earned points, demonstrating the global nature of football.

The FIFA President added that the competition successfully brought people together to celebrate in harmony. He emphasized FIFA's mission to unite the world for peace, stating the importance of demonstrating that people can gather peacefully and enjoy the beauty of the game and company.

Eric Trump, representing the Trump Organization, expressed gratitude to FIFA and Infantino for bringing the tournament to the United States. He conveyed excitement and appreciation on behalf of New York and the Trump Organization, acknowledging the efforts of FIFA in organizing the event. The audience included FIFA Council members, FIFA Legends, and other dignitaries.
