The Chiefs and Queen Mothers of the Dzodze Traditional Council have endorsed the New Patriotic Party (NPP) parliamentary candidate, Mr Enoch Kwabla Amegbletor, as he officially files his nomination to contest the Ketu North parliamentary seat.The endorsement came as a show of their solidarity with the traditional leaders dressed in colourful regalia, making their presence felt at the nomination ceremony.Mr Mcseyric Yao Seyram Agoha, the Public Relations Officer of the Dzodze Traditional Council, in an interview with the Ghana News Agency (GNA), said Amegbletor was regarded as a true son of the land.He said the Council had recognised his consistent contributions to the development of Dzodze and other parts of the Ketu North constituency, which was why they decided to support his campaign to officially contest for the seat.Mr Agoha said, 'The chiefs are committed to showing support for their own, hoping that once in office, he will bring further development and prosperity to Dzodze'.He highlighted th e need for development and job creation in the area, expressing the Council's confidence that if elected as the Member of Parliament (MP), Mr Amegbletor, would be able to deliver on these crucial issues.He said the tangible impact that Mr Amegbletor had already made on the community, including the initiation of several development projects, had benefited the constituency tremendously.Among these initiatives was the construction of a modern classroom block for DzoTech, funded by the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Authority, which was expected to enhance teaching and learning at the school, he said.Mr Agoha said the Council believed that this was just the beginning of what Mr Amegbletor could achieve if given the mandate to represent the Ketu North in Parliament.Mr Amegbletor expressed his gratitude to the Chiefs and Queen Mothers of Dzodze for their endorsement acknowledging that their backing was a sign of trust and belief in his ability to lead the constituency toward a bright er future.He assured the traditional leaders and the people of Dzodze that he would not let them down and promised to focus on driving further development in Dzodze, as well as in other parts of Ketu North if elected.Mr Amegbletor also revealed his ambition to transform Dzodze into a 'Smart City,' bringing modern infrastructure, jobs, and opportunities to the area.The endorsement of Mr Amegbletor by the Dzodze Traditional Council is seen as a significant boost to his campaign, as it reflects the support of the local leadership for his candidacy and his vision for the future of Ketu North.Source: Ghana News Agency
