Chief Nana Yeboah Emphasizes Youth’s Role in Safeguarding National Peace.

Manso Akwasiso: Nana Kwakye Gyima Yeboah, Chief of Manso Akwasiso in the Amansie South District, has called upon the youth to actively participate in safeguarding the nation's peace, highlighting it as a collective responsibility. Addressing a gathering at a graduation ceremony for young individuals trained in vocational skills, he emphasized the importance of the youth in maintaining the country's tranquility, particularly as they are the future leaders.According to Ghana News Agency, Nana Yeboah highlighted the recent December 07 elections as a pivotal moment for the youth to ensure the nation's prosperous future. He urged respect and civility throughout the electoral process, stressing that the elections were not a battleground. "We are not going to fight; we are not going to insult one another and only fools will die out of electoral violence. We are going to exercise our right to vote," he remarked.Nana Yeboah encouraged eligible voters to participate actively and vote responsibly, advocating for res pect among individuals at polling centers, as all were Ghanaians united in promoting the national good. He underscored the importance of adhering to electoral regulations and respecting the electoral officers, who are integral members of the community.Additionally, Nana Yeboah called for initiatives to support youth training in employable skills, aiming to alleviate the unemployment challenges faced by the country. In a related appeal, Mr. Kwaku Abonee, Chairperson of the Amasie South Chapter of the Ghana National Association of Small-Scale Miners (GNASSM), urged political entities to commit to stopping illegal mining activities, which pose significant challenges to the nation.
