Tunis: Approved agricultural investments in the first half of 2024 (H1) secured 668 subsidies and land credits worth TND 21.559 million.During this period, 3,640 investment operations worth TND 639.2 million were reported, according to the agricultural investment indicators presented at the 2nd meeting of the Agricultural Investment Promotion Agency (APIA) Council for 2024.The latter focused among other issues, on APIA's strategic vision and digital transition roadmap, ways to encourage youth entrepreneurship through agricultural business incubators and support mechanisms.The National Commission for Granting Benefits under the APIA on July 22, 2024, approved the funding of 7 investment operations worth TND 18 million. These projects are located in four governorates, namely, Mahdia, Monastir, Sidi Bouzid and Nabeul.Regarding land loans, the commission approved three credits worth TND 400,000 in the governorates of Kasserine, Kef and Gafsa.Source: Agence Tunis Afrique Presse
