Tunis: The National Agency for Employment and Self-Employment (ANETI) on Friday signed the implementation agreement for the second phase of "Towards a Holistic Approach to Labour Migration Governance and Labour Mobility in North Africa (THAMM Plus)" project, with the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ).The agreement aims to implement a structured approach to labour migration by improving the employability of jobseekers through training sessions to facilitate their economic and social integration, according to a Ministry of Employment and Vocational Training press release.The agreement was inked by Chief of Staff to the Minister of Employment and Vocational Training Abdelkader Jemmali, Regional Director of GIZ Tunisia/Libya Manfred HORR, and Coordinator of the Training, Labour Market, and Migration Cluster of GIZ Tunisia Stephanie SCHRADE.THAMM Plus is a sub-regional programme aimed at providing mutually beneficial opportunities for safe, regular, and orderly migration for North African cou ntries.It is funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and co-financed by the European Union in Tunisia.Source: Agence Tunis Afrique Presse
