Mr John-Peter Amewu, Hohoe Constituency Member of Parliament (MP) and New Patriotic Party (NPP) Parliamentary Candidate, has filed his nomination forms to re-contest the Hohoe Parliamentary Seat.The Member of Parliament who is seeking a second term after winning the 2020 parliamentary elections, asked the constituents to give him a second chance to continue his developmental works.Mr Amewu addressing supporters and sympathisers after submitting his nomination forms, said he was grateful to be chosen to lead the Party into the 2024 parliamentary election.He said despite all the development projects, individually, some constituents were yet to benefit hence the need for a second term.Mr Amewu asked the constituents to vote for him for round two and vote for Dr Mahamudu Bawumia as the President in the first round.He said the filing also marked the official launch of the Party's campaign, promising not to disappoint the constituents.Mr Amewu said the target for the parliamentary results was pegged at nothing less than 67 per cent.Source: Ghana News Agency
