LAGOS: The Ameer and Missionary-in-Charge of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission, Maulvi Mohammed Bin Salih, emphasized the importance of Muslims aligning their behavior with Islamic teachings to inspire others. During his inaugural visit to the Co-African Community for the Ahmadiyya Muslim Nigerian Jama'at Jalsa, held from December 20 to December 22, 2024, he urged members to embody the true essence of Islam through their actions and lead an exemplary Islamic life.
According to Ghana News Agency, Maulvi Bin Salih stressed the need for Muslims to reflect the beauty of Islamic principles in their conduct. He shared a story of a tourist impressed by Islamic teachings but disillusioned by the behavior of some Muslims, highlighting the critical need for Muslims to live by their faith. The Ameer called for concerted efforts in propagating Islam, asserting that universal adoption of Islamic values could foster global peace and harmony.
Maulvi Bin Salih encouraged participants to become beacons of hope by showcasing Islam's true spirit through their actions. He also emphasized the importance of upholding the divine institution of Khilafat-e-Ahmadiyya, urging members to form a close bond with Khalifatul Masih and remain loyal. He advocated teaching children about the blessings of Khilafat to ensure future generations remain under its guidance and protection.
Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad, the Worldwide Head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, also addressed the event, urging adherence to the conditions of Bai'at, which he described as containing immense wisdom. He expressed pleasure in the community's 70th Annual Jalsa Salana and prayed for its success, hoping participants would deepen their understanding of Islam and its teachings. He emphasized that the Jalsa should enhance participants' righteousness and instill a true fear of Allah, aiming for the pleasure of Allah as their ultimate goal.
