Accra: Mr Reindolf Afrifa-Oware, the Director of Communications and Corporate Affairs of the National Tenants Union of Ghana, has urged Ghanaians to appreciate the progress made in the nation's reconstruction process as the December 7 polls approach. He emphasized that meaningful development is a process requiring patience and long-term commitment, and he called on everyone to contribute to the nation's progressive development. He further encouraged the electorate to prioritize the nation's interests in the upcoming elections.According to Ghana News Agency, Mr Afrifa-Oware, who is also the Head of Production at CLOG TV and a political analyst, spoke in a telephone interview where he entreated citizens to maintain a positive mindset towards building a better nation for all. He highlighted that the development process demands time and tremendous effort to achieve.Mr Afrifa-Oware cautioned against the tendency of some Ghanaians to compare the nation's development to that of Western countries, noting that nat ions like the United States have over 200 years of democratic experience. He remarked that Ghana, being just over 60 years into its independence, is still laying the foundation for sustainable development and democratic practices.He acknowledged the significant strides made in the nation's infrastructure development and commended successive governments for their efforts in facilitating accelerated national development.
