Women in Tech Ghana Encourages BECE Candidates to Persevere and Shine

Accra: Ms. Luvina Sandra Atsu, the Country Director of Women in Tech Ghana, has urged candidates of the ongoing 2025 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) to believe in their abilities and strive for success. 'Your hard work, dedication, and perseverance have brought you to this moment, and we have no doubt that you will excel,' she stated.

According to Ghana News Agency, Ms. Atsu acknowledged the effort and resilience shown by the candidates, recognizing the significance of this moment in their educational journey. She encouraged them to remain focused, have confidence in themselves, and approach each examination paper with self-assurance. She expressed her hope that their efforts would lead to great success and mark the beginning of a promising future.

The Chapter Director of Women in Tech Ghana, known for her advocacy for youth empowerment and digital literacy, highlighted the importance of self-belief and mental readiness as essential components for success in the BECE. She encouraged students to view the examinations as an opportunity to demonstrate their growth and potential.

Ms. Atsu reiterated Women in Tech Ghana's commitment to supporting inclusive education and digital empowerment, particularly for young girls in underserved communities. The 2025 BECE involves 603,328 candidates nationwide, from June 11 to June 18, with 297,250 males and 306,078 females participating. This cohort is the first to potentially benefit from the Free Senior High School (FSHS) Policy introduced by the new government, with candidate numbers rising by 5.99 percent compared to the previous year.
