Western North: Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen, founder and leader of the Movement for Change and Presidential Candidate of the Afrafranto Alliance, has taken his transformative campaign to the Western North Region. He has also pledged to establish a Traders Bank to support private businesses and revive Ghana's economy.According to Ghana News Agency, addressing durbars in Bibiani, Sefwi Bekwai, and Sefwi Wiawso constituencies, Alan Kyerematen highlighted the importance of the Traders Bank initiative, a key element of his Great Transformational Plan (GTP). He stated, "In Ghana, about 80 per cent of the population engages in trading. Therefore, it is imperative to have a bank dedicated to financing the trading activities of these hardworking Ghanaians to help them thrive."He emphasized that the Traders Bank would serve both men and women equally, offering opportunities to all. He called on residents to reject the propaganda of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) , describing both as architects of the country's current economic woes. Refuting claims that a vote for him would be wasted, Kyerematen said such statements were part of a deliberate attempt by the two dominant parties to mislead Ghanaians. "This is a calculated effort to keep Ghanaians trapped in hardship. A vote for Alan Kyerematen is a vote for a brighter future," he emphasized. The tour also allowed Alan Kyerematen to engage with key groups, including the youth, market women, clergy, and the Muslim community. He appealed for their support and prayers, promising to champion their concerns when elected. "Your advice and blessings are critical for this journey, and I assure you of my commitment to your well-being," he told them.At Sefwi Wiawso, he urged constituents to elect him as president and Veronica Ababio as their Member of Parliament. "Together, we will implement policies that will transform this constituency and the nation at large," he affirmed. The region's clergy and Chief Imam offered prayers for Alan Kyerematen and his team, seeking divine protection, long life, and success in the December 7 election. "You have shown great respect for Ghanaians by running a clean and issue-based campaign," they commended.Alan Kyerematen also urged the people of the Western North Region to vote decisively for change. "This election is about the future of Ghana. Let us choose progress and transformation over stagnation," he said, leaving his supporters energized and optimistic about the movement's plans.
