Madam Thelma Christabel Adzimah, the Women's Organizer for the Ho Central Constituency and spokesperson for the group, stated that they came together with a strong sense of purpose to affirm their 'firm and unwavering support' for Dr. Acheampong. She praised him as a leader who listens, respects the party base, and remains committed to building robust party structures, even in challenging times.Madam Adzimah highlighted Dr. Acheampong's track record, citing achievements in community empowerment through borehole projects, provision of farm inputs, support for education, and initiatives in healthcare, hospitality, and economic empowerment. The group also emphasized his consistent engagement with the grassroots and his appreciation for the pivotal role played by polling station executives, coordinators, and constituency leaders in the party's success.The coalition urged other pres idential hopefuls and party leadership to avoid taking the party base for granted, warning against reliance on endorsements from former government appointees. They stressed that the true power of the party lies in its grassroots, including foot soldiers, polling station executives, and coordinators who drive the party's machinery at the community level.Additionally, the group called on the national leadership of the NPP to ensure that future internal elections are free, fair, and transparent, reflecting the true will of its members.
