Trump Announces Weapon Support for Ukraine, Warns Russia of ‘Severe Tariffs’

Washington: U.S. President Donald Trump declared on Monday that the United States will be providing weapons to Ukraine through NATO, while simultaneously warning Russia of impending 'severe tariffs' if a ceasefire agreement is not achieved within 50 days.

According to Ghana News Agency, Trump revealed the agreement with NATO to supply arms to Ukraine during a meeting with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte in the Oval Office. Trump emphasized that the United States will be manufacturing these weapons and that Ukraine will be responsible for paying for them.

Trump also issued a stern warning to Russia, stating, "We're going to be doing very severe tariffs if we don't have a deal in 50 days." He further mentioned that these tariffs would include 'secondary tariffs' amounting to approximately 100 percent, as reported by multiple news outlets.
